Dr Kus looked after our son in 2017 when undergoing oncology treatment and the care we received then was outstanding. This week we were worried about a recurrence and Dr Kus kindly arranged to see us immediately (the same day as referral from the GP). He examined my son and gave us the reassurance we needed. He is thorough, understanding and very reassuring.

The appointment was very helpful and Dr Kus reassured me immediately with his accurate observations and note taking. Waiting time was minimal and the meeting itself very productive with clear indications on follow up process.

Dr Kus looked after our son who was hospitalised just before Christmas. He was kind and reassuring and made us confident our son would be fine. Dr Kus went out of his way in the care he provided, including coming in on his day off just to check on our son and liaising with Bristol Children's Team for the treatment plan. We are grateful to have had such a knowledgeable, experienced and warm hearted doctor in charge of the care of our child.

We have received wonderful care from Dr Kus. Thank you for the kindness and compassion that you have given us during what has been a worrying time. We couldn’t have felt in safer hands and you are an absolute credit to the Paediatric team.

Dr just is always very approachable. He listens to our concerns and answers every question. Our daughter is involved in the whole process of her appointment from the way he talks to her, explains everything in an age appropriate way and more importantly in a way she can understand. He always asks her directly for how she is feeling, if she understands and is happy with the ongoing plan with no pressure if she doesn’t want to engage at all
